What does Great Moose Fire Protection do?
We install, inspect, and service fire sprinkler systems for buildings. That includes new construction, retrofits, and 24/7 emergency service.
How do fire sprinkler systems work?
Each sprinkler head is heat-sensitive. If there’s a fire, only the sprinkler heads near the heat activate—not the whole system. They release water to control or put out the fire fast.
Will all my sprinklers go off at once?
No. That’s a myth. Only the sprinkler heads closest to the fire will activate.
Do you do residential work?
We primarily focus on commercial and industrial buildings, but we’re happy to talk if you’re working on a residential project that requires fire protection.
